About the product...

The motorless steam pump type BMP is used for transportation of the condensate. The pumps are equipped with a horizontal or vertical condensate tank located above the pump. The pump uses saturated steam or compressed air to push the condensate towards the boiler room.

During the filling of the pump, the vent valve is open and the condensate flows through a non-return valve at the inlet. The non-return valve on the pump thrust is closed in the filling phase. The float rises and activates the pump mechanism at once. The mechanism is designed to open the steam valve and close the vent valve at the same time.

The pump is filled with steam which results in the condensate being pushed through a non-return valve on the pressure. The non-return valve at the pump inlet is then closed and the condensate is retained in the collection tank during the pushing phase. During the suppression of the condensate, the float falls and at one point reactivates the mechanism. The steam from the pump escapes into the atmosphere and the filling phase of the pump starts again.
